Angel's Fund
Many rescues turn away dogs that need critical care because the financial burden is just too great. We have opted to take them in and try to save them. But to do that we need your help and financial support!
We currently have three critical care cases costing us thousands of dollars. And we're glad to report they're all doing well! Angel's hip is recovering nicely after two surgeries and much angst. Buck is doing well after losing several toes. Cher who has DM (degenerative myelopathy) is holding her own and needs a wheelchair.
For this reason we've started "Angel's Fund," named after our first critical care german shepherd, Angel. Her name fits this part of our rescue mission: to be help even those dogs with special medical needs.
Angel's Fund is a critical care fund to help the very special furkids who need more than standard vetting but still deserve a shot at life. Right now we're still paying off Angel's and Buck's surgeries, and trying to get Cher a wheelchair. A wonderful woman is trying to get a wheelchair donated, and others have responded lovingly and donated for her wheelchair in just a few days.
Please help us build Angel's Fund! Once we pay off the vet bills for Angel, Buck and Cher, we need to build a reserve so we can help the next german shepherd in need. We have been financing all this from our own pockets and are simply not able to do that anymore. Any amount is GREATLY appreciated!! Together, our $10 and $5 and $20 donations make a huge difference to the Angels of this world.
